12 August 2010 Kenya has done it! Citizens have overwhelmingly voted in a new constitution. The new constitution heralds a new beginning for the country. It addresses political patronage, gender disparity, negative ethnicity and land grabbing; issues which have afflicted Kenya since independence.
01 August 2010 People laughed, cried and cheered when the play ”Ehna Meen” (”Who am I?”), was shown in the Royal Cultural Centre in Amman.
A group of young people born in Zarqa and still living there were telling their own personal stories on stage through storytelling, theatre, dance performance and break dance.
22 July 2010 Civil society in Yei, Southern Sudan gathers all its strength to prepare the voters for historic referendum. MS supports civic and voter education initiatives.

21 July 2010 Women from more than 50 villages in Zambia’s Central Province gathered together last week to give a piece of their minds to their chiefs. Nervous but certain the women asked for better rights and access to land. For most of them it was the first time to kneel down before their chief and express their concerns.
21 July 2010 In these days 17 young Salvadorean volunteers from 9 different organizations are spending their weekends at Global Platform El Salvador participating in a training to promote social transformation in their volunteer work.

12 May 2009 Papiya had no support when her husband left her. Traditionally, women are not allowed to own land in that area in Tanzania. But Papiya went to the village council and was assigned a plot.
