About the Platform
The Global Platform Nepal is placed in the centre of the lively, ancient and fascinating city of Kathmandu in the old MS ActionAid Denmark office. The buildings are designed by Danish architects, offering a welcome respite a place to focus away from the speed and pulse of life in the streets of Kathmandu.
Training facilities
The Platform’s training facilities are located in a leafy campus, with a big garden and rooftop terrace available for both teaching and relaxation.
Other facilities include excellent rooms for training and conferences, small group rooms and good internet access.
The Platform can accommodate 50 people in rooms for 2-4 people with shared toilet and shower. Gender separated accommodation is possible.
Partners
The Platform is run in cooperation with ActionAid Nepal who is also having their secretariat in Kathmandu.
Staff
On Global Platform Nepal, we have three Danish facilitators, a number of local facilitators and a camp manager. In addition to this there are cooking, cleaning and security personnel.
