About the Platform
The Global Platform Denmark is located in the centre of Copenhagen in the lively, multiethnic part of town called Nørrebro. The Platform is situated just next to the our secretariat, so working here will allow participants to be close to the work of MS ActionAid Denmark. Nørrebro offers good shopping facilities, theatres, restaurants, excellent access to public transport and walking distance to the city centre.
Training facilities
The Global Platform in Copenhagen has excellent training facilities, including access to computers and a fast internet connection. There is space for working in large and small groups. A television, DVD-player and projector are available for teaching purposes.
The Platform can accommodate 40 people in three dormitories. Washrooms and toilets are shared and gender separated accommodation is possible.
Staff
On Global Platform Denmark we have 10 facilitators and a pool of approximately 20 volunteer trainers. Most of the facilitators on Global Platform Denmark also work for the Training for Change secretariat in Copenhagen.
