Partnership Approach

The partnership approach means working directly with representatives of the people. We believe that development must be initiated and promoted by the very same people that it is aimed at.

To MS Tanzania ActionAid Denmark (MSTZAADK) a partnership is a long-term relationship based on a shared vision and responsibility for achieving a certain set of goals.

Partner organisations are reasonably organised and legally registered entities with a defined constituency. We work with membership-based organisations, where the beneficiaries of the partner organisation’s activities must be visible in both the governance and the work planning of the partner organisation. Transparency and accountability is a must.
